The bungalow has its own patio area and is situated on the fringe of a small open plan complex. South facing patio doors overlook fields and farmland with views towards Tennyson Down or Colwell Bay and The Needles. Hurst Castle, across the Solent, can be seen from the bedrooms.

Each room is comforably furnished for your holiday needs and the accommodation is double glazed with heating in each room. Parking is adjacent to the bungalow. Sorry, but we cannot accept pets and we ask that there is no smoking inside the property.

Colwell Bay has a safe, gently sloping, family friendly, sandy beach. It can be accessed directly from the bungalow site by a gentle walk or a short drive by car. There are refreshments nearby and a car-park.

Situated next to the Coastal Path, it's ideal for those who like walking and is linked to the superb network of public footpaths that criss-cross the Island. Cyclists too should find interesting routes and challenges. Look for more information under the drop-down links. The Island is renowned for its wealth of fossils and many holiday makers come for this alone.

The ferry port of Yarmouth with its historic connections is about 2 miles away, while Freshwater is just a short drive.

Newport is the main town on the Island and is about 12 miles away. Places of interest include the Needles Battery where secret rocket tests were carried out, Osborne House, a favourite residence of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and Carisbrook Castle where Charles I was imprisoned.
